Just a sneak peek… Electronic signatures are getting an overhaul. Coming soon they’ll be more powerful and centralized in District Administration. We can’t tell you anymore now (it’s too exciting), but you’ll know more soon. Call us with your questions about TxEIS.
It’s been a short summer — we know. But we also know that you’re ready to hit the ground running. The Texas Computer Cooperative is here to help. We are the only Business and Student Administrative systems (iTCCS & TxEIS) and recruitment tool (CareerPortal) that are made in Texas for Texas schools. Make sure you give us a call with any questions. We look forward to working with you this school year. Let’s make it great one!
Just a reminder that we now support Internet Explorer (IE) 11 only. We always support the latest versions of Chrome and Firefox, as well as Apple Safari 5.0 and later (on the Mac only). And you’ll want to get your IE updated anyway, as Microsoft has stopped security updates for any previous versions. TxEIS is always concerned about safety — you should be too. Stay safe and upgrade. Let us know if you have any questions.
A week and a half ago, we asked where you’d been this summer. There’s still time to let us know (you can leave a comment or message me directly) and maybe get a little something in the bargain. The furthest trip from Texas as the crow flies will get a TxEIS magnet.
And we’re always here to answer your questions, so give us a call.
Don’t forget that this weekend (August 5 – 7) is Tax-Free Weekend in Texas. Get your back-to-school supplies and save about $8 for every $100 you spend! We’ve got all kinds of time-saving options for you, too, including Online Student Enrollment and Registration in txSuite (Parent Portal) and Email Referrals in CareerPortal (our recruitment tool). Summer might be winding down, but we’re just gearing up!
Have any summer plans? Or have you already been somewhere? Let us know what fun you have coming up or have already had. In fact, whoever has been the furthest on a single trip from Texas (as the crow flies), will get a magnet. Takers? Just comment on the post in the next week. And we’re always here to answer your questions, so give us a call.
There were a lot of big changes in this Update (want to know why it’s an Update instead of a Release?). Student changes include navigation updates and the addition of photos (and much more) while the Business side is dominated by the TRS TEAM changes. Remember: TxEIS offers trusted compliance with all federal and state mandates at no additional charge to you. Get in touch with us to learn more about this Update.
Be aware that as of the upcoming TxEIS update, we will be supporting Internet Explorer (IE) 11.
