Last week we talked about KG round-up and planning for the year. You’ll need to budget for those teachers. Position Management can help you forecast positions and see what happens when you change things around before you’re locked in. And when you find the best scenario, move those positions to the current year or next year payroll. Make sure you’re getting the right personnel. iTCCS and TxEIS offer complete Business and Student administrative software designed exclusively for Texas Schools. Let us know what you think.
The Texas Computer Cooperative (TCC) (iTCCS/TxEIS) partners with schools to register kindergarten students using Online Registration. These planning days help schools get an idea for the number of students they’ll have next year and that helps get the right number of teachers. We’ll talk about that a little more next week. Want to know more? Contact us.
txConnect Online Registration, fully integrated with the iTCCS and TxEIS Student systems, is the bee’s knees. Last year we did an overhaul of the entire system. This year it’s back and better than ever. So get your district set up and go paperless. Get your student registered online today. Want to know more? Learn more from Help or contact us.
The Texas Department of Agriculture recently mandated field changes to the Texas Unified Nutrition Programs System (TX-UNPS) Export file format in Registration. We’ve already gotten it all worked out, though, so nothing for you to worry about. You can trust that with TxEIS, you’ll be in compliance with ALL state and federal mandates. Contact us.
Another winter conference season is in the rearview mirror and we’re both relieved and sorry to see it fall back. But it’s time to look ahead. And we’re excited about what’s ahead. Plus, we wanted to take the opportunity to let y’all know how much we enjoyed all of you who stopped by our booths at TASA/TASB, TCEA and TASBO conferences. But we also want you to know that we’re here to hear you all year around. Let us know what you think. We’re listening.
Just a reminder that the Texas Computer Cooperative will be closed next week for Spring Break. We hope y’all are getting your much deserved break, too. Of course we never (fully) rest. There are always people on call for those emergencies. Contact your regional Education Service Center for more information. Have a great Spring Break!
The Texas Computer Cooperative would like to wish our former Administrative Director, Judi Sparks, a fond farewell. Judi had worked at ESC-20 since 2007 when she was a consultant. By 2013 she was the Associate Director of Information Technology. Now she’s enjoying retirement and we wish her all the best.
Did you know that the Texas Education Agency (TEA) has created free, optional interim assessments? It’s currently being piloted on a voluntary basis, but TxEIS has the implementation already done. You can select students to take the STAAR Interim Reading and/or Math and create the Interim precode file. TxEIS is always on the ball. You can read a little more about it on TEA’s website. But let us know if you want to know more.
Join us at the TASBO Annual Conference in Fort Worth, TX. We’ll be in the exhibit hall next week on Tuesday and Wednesday (February 27 and 28). We’ve said it before and still mean it mightily: we love to hear from you. This is your chance to let us know what you think in person. We’ll be in booth 814. Hope to see you there!
The Texas Computer Cooperative TxEIS Next Year Payroll and Budget team takes a break from creating comprehensive documentation for you. This kind of teamwork is how we’re able to continually bring you the best school administrative software in the state. Give our consultants some love on WordPress, Facebook, Twitter, Google +, wherever you consume your social media. They do a great job each and every day. Questions or comments?
