Immunization reporting gets a shot in the arm
Did you know that the state of Texas has changed the immunization reporting mandate? There are several new reporting requirements, but we’re all over it. The Annual Immunization Status Report (DSHS) (SHS0110) will have all the necessary changes. You could even say that with TxEIS you’re immune to state and federal mandate changes because we offer effortless compliance with both. Always contact us with any questions you have about TxEIS. Texas made, TxEIS proud.
Hot on the trail — TREA-CASE Solved
The new TREA-Community and Student Engagement Tool, CASE Solved, will save you some time, and TxEIS will save you even more. Once you’ve completed the locally assigned performance ratings, you can import that data into the TxEIS PEIMS application. The records will then be either inserted in or updated. You’ve got a lot to do. Now there’s one fewer thing. TxEIS: We work for you.
Graduation requirements? Check.
As you’re all aware, there have been a lot of graduation changes in the last couple of years. Two of the more recent ones were the speech and CPR requirements. We know you might have some graduates in December so we’re going to make sure you can print those on the AAR. And there will be even more functionality for these in the Winter release, so stay tuned. Effortless mandate compliance is our promise to you. Contact us with any questions.
IRS — less fuss
While the IRS isn’t really anyone’s favorite three letters, we definitely know what and how much they mean. That’s why we’re making sure that you have what you need so you don’t feel… exposed. Soon you’ll be able to print 1095 forms to send to employees so they can include the information on their tax returns. And we’ll be creating files for employers, too, of course, so you can report the required information. All of this will be available in the next TxEIS update. Coming your way soon.
ACA, TxEIS, and You
The Affordable Care Act (ACA) has steamrolled through just recently and left many people flat. There are lots of legal obstacles that you’ll have to figure out, but at least you know that TxEIS is keeping up on our end. We can’t answer your legal questions, of course, but we can let you know that we’ve implemented ACA changes so you can track hours, health insurance for your employees and their family members, and other data. Take a look at this post for more information about changes to the system with the Fall ACA and PEIMS Update. As always, TxEIS IS effortless compliance with federal and state mandates. Feel free to contact us with any questions about the software.
Talking TxEIS? We’re listening!
We heard that the changes to the Comment buttons were not exactly what you were looking for. So… We’re going to accommodate that with an updated look in the Winter release. Having open lines of communication is important to us and we’re glad you’re talking. Because TxEIS Knows Texas. Contact your local Education Service Center with questions about TxEIS.
