The Texas Computer Cooperative would like to welcome our new Associate Director, DK Bailey. DK comes from ESC-10 in Dallas where he was the Director of Technology/Chief Technology Officer. He brings extensive private and public sector professional experience in technology leadership and strategic planning and a strong commitment to public education and the success of our work as ESCs and the TCC.
One more to go. The TASBO is a big one, as you know. And once again we’ll be up in Austin from February 27th to March 3rd (March already? That’s madness.). The booth will be set up on Tuesday night (2/28) and all day Wednesday. We’re in spots 517/616. Come by and talk iTCCS, TxEIS, CareerPortal or anything else for that matter. You’ll be glad you did. See you soon!
Erin Schofield took the opportunity at TCEA Exposition and Convention last week to snap a selfie with TCC consultants/clients, Guillermo Valdez and Victor Rios — both from ESC-1 — for the Selfie with Staff or a Client, another 50th anniversary event. As usual, it’s nice to see everyone so happy. Thanks, Erin, Guillermo and Victor.
Charles Wimett — a busy man to be sure — managed to get this great selfie with Kacie from Junction ISD. Lovely to catch up with all our wonderful clients. Thanks for stopping by, Kacie!
Our clients mean the world to us. And so we wanted to take a minute to welcome some of the newest members of the family. We’re so glad you’re here. And don’t forget to contact us with any question or comments.

Because you asked for it! The General Ledger Inquiry page was added to perform quick inquiries on general ledger data. The GL Inquiry tab lets you inquire into processed, current period or next period data. Need to know about total balances by accounting period and year? The GL History – Accounting Period tab is what you need. And finally the GL History – EOM tab displays data for current balances at the end of the month process for the selected accounting period. You get a .csv file to sort and filter to your heart’s content. Let us know if you have any questions.
TxEIS has a hosted environment that offers lots of benefits. We already mentioned document attachment and security. How about JasperReports? The Java-based data analysis and reporting engine gives you even more added value. This versatile addition to TxEIS lets you create ad hoc reports and dashboards, export data in many different formats (PDF, .csv, .rtf and HTML to name just a few). Schedule reports to run on particular days each week or month and have them sent to you when they’re done. The whole world of data from your district is at your fingertips. Want to know more? Contact us.
On to the next one. We’re back up in Austin this week from the 6th to the 10th. So come on by and see us at booth 1238. We’ve got some nice giveaways and big smiles. Looking forward to it, y’all!
