The Texas Computer Cooperative (TCC) sends our thoughts and prayers to all those affected by Hurricane Harvey. In light of the devastation experienced by many of our clients we are postponing the TCC User Conference, originally scheduled for November 6 – 7, 2017. It’s time for our collective spirit to focus on the healing of Texas. Together, as a cooperative, we are strong and we are here to support the recovery efforts of Texas schools.
Our clients mean the world to us. And so we wanted to take a minute to welcome some of the newest members of the family. We’re so glad you’re here. And don’t forget to contact us with any question or comments.

TxEIS has a hosted environment that offers lots of benefits. We already mentioned document attachment and security. How about JasperReports? The Java-based data analysis and reporting engine gives you even more added value. This versatile addition to TxEIS lets you create ad hoc reports and dashboards, export data in many different formats (PDF, .csv, .rtf and HTML to name just a few). Schedule reports to run on particular days each week or month and have them sent to you when they’re done. The whole world of data from your district is at your fingertips. Want to know more? Part of our series on the TCC TxEIS Data Centers. It’s always important to have business continuity. You want your data to be accurate, of course. And what better way to ensure that than by having your school administrative software hosted in a state-of-the-art, secure, fully redundant data center? Never worry about losing your data. Let us know what kind of questions you have.
Welcome back! We hope that you had a restful and relaxing holiday break. We know that you’re ready to get back into the swing of things. We are too!
The TCC, as part of Education Service Center, Region 20, will be closed for two weeks starting today at 2 p.m. We’ll be back and ready for action though on Monday, January 2nd, 2017. Happy holidays again!
As you may know, House Bill 2610, passed by the 84th Texas Legislature, made changes to Texas Education Code §25.081 requiring a minimum number of minutes of instruction (75,600) instead of days (180) per year. Not to worry, though, because TxEIS has the Attendance calendar looking good. You’ll have it in your hands in no time. Remember that with TxEIS, you’re always in compliance with federal and state mandates. Have a question about any of this? Let us know.
TxEIS and txGradebook offer a variety of grading possibilities to accommodate multiple grading philosophies. There is, of course, the traditional method of grading available, but also standards-based and skills-based (for kindergarten) grading available. We know that you have unique needs, just like you have unique students. TxEIS is here to make sure you get what you need. Questions?
