Our stellar cooperative continues next week with the TxEIS Student Advisory Committee (TSAC). TxEIS Student consultants get together to share knowledge and learn about all the exciting new and upcoming changes to TxEIS. We want to make sure our collaboration means you have the best product you can have. Contact us with any questions.
Once again the TxEIS Student Advisory Council (TSAC) meeting has concluded. Not only was it a knowledge sharing success, as usual, but it was a great chance for everyone to catch up. Communication is important to us here at the Texas Computer Cooperative so we value those open lines. And it means that you get the best support in Texas. TxEIS knows Texas.
Once parents are logged into txConnect (Parent Portal) and have navigated to the Student List, they’ll see either the message, “Print Registration Form Completion Confirmation” if they have completed all required forms, or a red exclamation mark icon. The exclamation mark means they can click the View/Edit Forms button or the icon to make necessary changes for the student. Furthermore, each form will display either a green check mark to indicate that it has been completed or a red exclamation mark (message, “Please review this form for accuracy” also displays) indicating more information is required. There’s a lot of information when you’re registering your child, so we make easier to navigate. Stay tuned for more great changes to Online Student Enrollment and Registration. And always contact us with your questions.
TxEIS is all about making things easier. We’ve got lots of interfaces to make importing and exporting data a breeze. And now we interface with eSped, too, to bringing current special education enrollment and program data into TxEIS a snap. Contact us with your questions.
Coming soon they’ll be some nice changes to your ability to navigate around TxEIS. We’ll introduce auto-retrieve, which means that as soon as you click a student’s name from the drop-down list, they’ll be retrieved. But that’s not all. You’ll also be able to change between select screens in different applications with that same student selected. That means you won’t have to find them again. They’ll be right there waiting for you! And isn’t that how it should always be? We’re always here to answer your questions, so give us a call.
It can be hard to keep track of all those names. Not to worry. You’ll be able to put a face to that name. Student photos will be coming soon to TxEIS. Upload batches of photos or do it individually by student. Let us know if you have any questions.
Coming soon you’ll be able to grant a user campus-level administrator access to multiple campuses without granting the user full district-wide access. Multi-campus users can have a different type of access at each campus (i.e., Inquiry, Maintenance, or Discipline only). TxEIS: Always striding forward. Contact us with you questions.
We’re adding pop-up windows to clearly guide you through the registration process in txConnect (Parent Portal). They’ll appear depending on your student’s status. You will be offered the option to view and edit student forms if you have a student who is already enrolled, for example. You’ll be guided to enroll a student when they’re new to the district, or register the student if they’re returning. There are lots of options; TxEIS and txSuite make navigating them a breeze. We’re always here for your questions!
FitnessGram is back with a new provider and TxEIS was one of the first Student Information Systems to get approval for submission. What’s that mean? It means even before you were ready and able to submit your FitnessGram files, we were. The submission dates are April 18th through June 10th. Let TxEIS, as an industry leader, put you at ease because we’re always one step ahead. Contact us with your questions.
