The Texas Legislature will be wrapping up at the end of the month. We’ve been paying attention. We always pay attention, especially when it comes to Texas mandates. TxEIS is all about trusted mandate compliance. And so we’re on top of things. Questions? Let us know.
Time for TxEIS Business Advisory Committee to work (TBAC). Similar to TSAC, which wrapped up yesterday, TBAC offers the Business consultants from across the state the opportunity to get together and share their wealth of knowledge as well as get up to speed about exciting new and upcoming changes to TxEIS. Collaboration builds our software and we want to make sure you have the best Student and Business Information System you can. We always enjoy hearing from you.
TxEIS has a hosted environment that offers lots of benefits. We already mentioned document attachment and security. How about JasperReports? The Java-based data analysis and reporting engine gives you even more added value. This versatile addition to TxEIS lets you create ad hoc reports and dashboards, export data in many different formats (PDF, .csv, .rtf and HTML to name just a few). Schedule reports to run on particular days each week or month and have them sent to you when they’re done. The whole world of data from your district is at your fingertips. Want to know more? It’s not the most glamorous topic, but it’s one that we’d be at a loss without. Warehouse. Most of us probably don’t think about that warehouse all that much, but without it, we wouldn’t get the things we need. And with TxEIS, that building chock-full of things, becomes a tightly integrated, organized machine. The Warehouse application allows you to find inventory; it’s got PO and Requisition interfaces; it allows you to fill back orders. So maybe it’s not glamorous, but it’s a workhorse. We want to hear from you!
The txeis.net website will be getting a bit of a makeover. Don’t worry, all the great content you’ve come to expect will still be there. The site will just have a bit of a new look and we think it’ll be one that you’ll love. It’ll be a little while before everything is moved, but we’ll keep you posted. We’re excited to unveil it! Let us know if you have any questions.
