Another winter conference season is in the rearview mirror and we’re both relieved and sorry to see it fall back. But it’s time to look ahead. And we’re excited about what’s ahead. Plus, we wanted to take the opportunity to let y’all know how much we enjoyed all of you who stopped by our booths at TASA/TASB, TCEA and TASBO conferences. But we also want you to know that we’re here to hear you all year around. Let us know what you think. We’re listening.

Farewell, Judi Sparks

The Texas Computer Cooperative would like to wish our former Administrative Director, Judi Sparks, a fond farewell. Judi had worked at ESC-20 since 2007 when she was a consultant. By 2013 she was the Associate Director of Information Technology. Now she’s enjoying retirement and we wish her all the best.

STAAR Interim Tests

Did you know that the Texas Education Agency (TEA) has created free, optional interim assessments? It’s currently being piloted on a voluntary basis, but TxEIS has the implementation already done. You can select students to take the STAAR Interim Reading and/or Math and create the Interim precode file. TxEIS is always on the ball. You can read a little more about it on TEA’s website. But let us know if you want to know more.

TASBO Annual Conference

Join us at the TASBO Annual Conference in Fort Worth, TX. We’ll be in the exhibit hall next week on Tuesday and Wednesday (February 27 and 28). We’ve said it before and still mean it mightily: we love to hear from you. This is your chance to let us know what you think in person. We’ll be in booth 814. Hope to see you there!

Working Hard

TxEIS Image

The Texas Computer Cooperative TxEIS Next Year Payroll and Budget team takes a break from creating comprehensive documentation for you. This kind of teamwork is how we’re able to continually bring you the best school administrative software in the state. Give our consultants some love on WordPress, Facebook, Twitter, Google +, wherever you consume your social media. They do a great job each and every day. Questions or comments?

TSDS Is State Reporting

2-8-18_TSDS Is State Reporting_TxEIS.jpg

It’s here! The TSDS application has been renamed State Reporting. And you’ll find it in the same place, under a new heading: Mandated External Reporting (along with OCR). PEIMS is still done in State Reporting and it still interfaces brilliantly with the Business and Student systems, but it also means that we can be more flexible as to what we include in the application. And you’ll continue to enjoy all the nice, new bells and whistles that the application has like being able to go through staff and students one-by-one with the next and previous buttons and lightning fast reports (see more features from the April Release). Contact us with questions.

Tax Season

TxEIS Image

It’s that time of year again. Have to get those W-2’s, 1095’s and 1099’s all squared away. Nothing to worry about, of course, because you use iTCCS or TxEIS. We’ll take care of the heavy lifting. You take care of your employees. Questions about anything?

Welcome Back

TxEIS Image

Welcome back! We hope you had a restful holiday and are ready to get back into the swing of things. But before you do, take a deep breath and imagine the warm breeze and rustle of palm fronds. Relaxing, right? We here at the Texas Computer Cooperative want you to feel that way as much as possible. We’re here for you.
