As you may know, House Bill 2610, passed by the 84th Texas Legislature, made changes to Texas Education Code §25.081 requiring a minimum number of minutes of instruction (75,600) instead of days (180) per year. Not to worry, though, because TxEIS has the Attendance calendar looking good. You’ll have it in your hands in no time. Once again the TxEIS Student Advisory Council (TSAC) meeting has concluded. Not only was it a knowledge sharing success, as usual, but it was a great chance for everyone to catch up.
