Now that you’ve got some time under your belt after the summer, we hope everything is moving along smoothly. We’re working hard here at the Texas Computer Cooperative (TCC) to make sure you have the best products for your Business and Student software needs: iTCCS, TxEIS, txConnect (parent portal), txGradebook, and CareerPortal. We’ve got what you need covered. Don’t hesitate to contact us.
Welcome back! We know some of you started on Monday and some of you are starting next week. One way or another, we hope you have a fantastic 2018 – 19 school year. We’re here to help you reach your potential, as a state, city, district, student, teacher, registrar… Well, you get the picture. We’re always here for you, so feel free to get in touch.
We here at TxEIS are working hard together, across 19 Education Service Centers, to get you not only the best software we can, but the best training, too. Here we have a trio of TCC folks, Jen Stanford, Laura Ellison, and Stephanie Smelley, taking in the bats at Congress St. bridge in Austin where they were meeting to plan for the Attendance Posting training. TxEIS brings Texas closer together. Be a part of our family.
Extended Year PEIMS is upon us like the sweltering heat, as first submission dates loom at the end of August. Not to worry though. We’re ready to get your data submitted in tip-top shape. We’re always available for any questions you might have.
It’s collection time. Early Childhood Data System (ECDS) collection that is. iTCCS and TxEIS are here to make sure you get all your ECDS data in order for submission coming up next week. Any questions you might have? Let us know.
It’s not quite officially the dog days of summer, but it sure feels like it. And while the heat may suggest a certain lethargy, we’re hard at work here at the Texas Computer Cooperative creating the best Business and Student software in Texas. TxEIS: Made for Texas schools by Texans. Keep our education dollars here where they belong.
Coming Soon: more options are coming to the Copy Calendar page. You’ll be able to add a new track from the page, tailor what information is copied from one calendar to the other so you get exactly what you need, and copy with more freedom (that means calendars don’t have to have the same calendar minutes anymore). We’re working hard to make your hard work a little easier. Let us know if you have any questions.
Did you know? TxEIS has moved to Agile. We’re using Jira Dev, which allows us to use a specific type of Agile. In our case, we’re using the Kanban framework. A Kanban board allows members of the group to visualize each piece of the software puzzle they’re working on. So they can tell where in the process something is — full transparency is key. What does this mean for you? Faster software iterations so you get working components you need quickly. Questions?
The Texas Computer Cooperative is pleased to announce that we are working with the Instructure team to build two-way integration with Canvas. With just a click of a button teachers will be able to send grades from Canvas to TxEIS. Together we are committed to creating the best experience for users across Texas.
